Ayas Aspiratör was founded by the late Bülent Özyazgan in Rami, Istanbul. Our company supplied various radial fans used in boiler to leading boiler manufacturers such as Thyssen and Elterm.

Production of axial fans started in 1972. Companies such as Oerlikon and Gedik Kaynak were supplied with the axial fans.

Not content with just producing parts of ventilation units, in 1974, research for producing final products was initiated. Motors were obtained from Profilo company and coupled with the manufactured casing and axial fans, manufacturing of industrial aspirator was commenced. In 1980, Profilo company stopped producing the motor they supplied us and this led to the in house research about motor production and finally in November of 1981, we started to produce the motors used in the industrial aspirators in-house.

In 1981 Bülent Özyazgan saw an American model ventilator at a restaurant he went for lunch and decided he was going to produce them. The ventilator was bought from the restaurant as a sample product. After a period of research, in 1982 a ventilator named Devekusu was being manufactured in our company.

In 1983, our Devekusu ventilator was unveiled at a home appliance fair at Tüyap in Istanbul. Starting with Istanbul there was a heavy order request for the Devekusu ventilator.

In 1987, medium pressure radial fans named OBRA were introduced. The motors and radial fans were already produced in our company so by producing he casings. We completed the manufacturing of the whole product in-house. In the market where only imported products exist, our product, which is 100% domestically produced, became very popular and began to replace imported products.

In 1990, as a result of the expansion of our product portfolio, marketing activities were started throughout the country. Visits were made to every corner of Turkey with three sales representatives, and very solid and long-term friendships began to be developed.

In 1994, all components were produced in-house and the production of ÇES and OÇES products, which are double suction radial fans, started.

In 1995, the works to enlarge our factory building were started. Our closed area of 500 m² was enlarged to 1500 m² and the construction work was completed in 1997.

In the year 2001, cylindrical duct radial fan (YKA) was completely manufactured in-house with the exception of the motors which were obtained externally. This was a first in Turkey.

In 2008, our production plant was expanded to 2100 m², with the purchase of a new 600 m² space in APEK complex located in Rami Kışla Caddesi, this space was designated for machining productions.

In 2010, we participated in the Istanbul Sodex fair. Participation in this fair led to the begin of export sales. This led to our continuous participation in the Sodex Fair which is held every 2 years.

In 2013, an investment was made for the production of 92 mm diameter external rotor motors. Required molds, machinery and equipment were produced and purchased. Some molds and machines were produced in our in-house molding room. As of June 2014, all investment was completed and production started. Cylindrical duct type radial fan (YKA), Cylindrical duct type axial fan (YBA), sheet metal casing radial fan (SGF), aluminum casing radial fan (AGF), axial aspirator (DRAF) products have been added to our portfolio.

In 2016, we participated in the Mostra Convegno Milan/Italy Fair, one of the largest and most important fairs in Europe, in order to be recognized on a global scale and to be one of the leading companies. Continuing to participate in each edition.

In 2018, an investment was made to enlarge the production facility. We moved to a new factory building with a closed area of 4200 m² in Istanbul Gaziosmanpaşa. Our facilities in two separate locations were gathered under the roof of one building. Thanks to the facilitation of logistics and the growth of the area, an increase in production capacity was achieved.

In 2019, our e-commerce store www.hvacturk.com started its operations as a first in the HVAC sector in Turkey. At the same time, other virtual shops were also opened.

In 2019, to continue our expansion Ayas Store was opened in Izmir.

In 2020, our Ayas Mekanik unit was established to undertake the surveying, engineering, assembly, installation and commissioning processes of special-purpose products produced under our Ayas Pro brand as a package. www.ayasmekanik.com

In 2020, machinery investment was made in the special production unit that continues production under our Ayas Pro brand. With the purchase of laser cutting machine, edge bending press brake and cylinder machine, all of the production has started to be done in-house.

Today, our company continues production in a closed area of 4200 m² such that can meet all types of ventilation applications are produced and implemented. With at least 35% of our production being exported to 18 countries. And our exports continue to increase every year. We strategically continue to strengthen our position in the local market day by day with our domestic dealerships, web sales and retail stores.
